If you only ship occasionally, on-call pickups are a flexible option. You can schedule a pickup through the pickup application or while creating a label online.

Schedule an on-call freight pickup
If you have a door tag that tells you to pick up your shipment, see location details. To redirect a package that's already on its way, request to hold at a retail store.
If you ship regularly but not every day, consider using automated World Cargo pickups. We'll only come on the days you need us, saving you time and money. Before your first pickup, you'll complete a one-time enrollment and setup process.

If your shipments are over 150lbs, you can schedule regularly scheduled air freight and LTL freight pickups. They're free Monday through Friday.
To schedule regularly scheduled freight pickups, contact customer service and select express freight for air freight service or freight for LTL freight service.

You can schedule a pickup with a prepaid label by logging into your World Cargo account and selecting the pickup option. Alternatively, you can schedule directly through our tracking and pickup portal.
World Cargo offers pickup status notifications via email and SMS. You can set up notifications through your account settings or opt in during the pickup scheduling process. The World Cargo mobile app also provides real-time pickup updates.
World Cargo pickup hours vary by location and service type. Generally, pickups are available Monday through Friday. When scheduling, you'll be able to select a pickup window that works for your location. Schedule a pickup to see available times in your area.
You can manage, modify, or cancel an existing pickup through your World Cargo account. Log in, navigate to your scheduled pickups, and select the pickup you'd like to update. Changes must typically be made at least one hour before the scheduled pickup window.
Saturday pickup availability depends on your location and selected service. Sunday pickups are limited. When you schedule your pickup, available weekend dates will be shown based on your area.
World Cargo drop box pickup times vary by location. Each drop box displays its last pickup time on the label. To find a drop box near you and its pickup schedule, use our location finder.
Yes, World Cargo can pick up from residential addresses including condos and apartments. When scheduling, enter your full address including unit number. You don't need to be present — just ensure your package is accessible and safe for the driver to collect. A door tag will be left if pickup cannot be completed.
If you missed your scheduled pickup, you can reschedule through your World Cargo account or contact our support team. Alternatively, you can drop your package off at a nearby World Cargo retail location at no extra charge.
*Complimentary World Cargo packaging is only available for shipments using World Cargo expedited, World Cargo Express Saver or World Cargo International Economy services.
